Chemplex 825 Dielectric Silicone Grease
General Description:
Chemplex 825 is a specially formulated grease like product containing selected silicone oils and inert silica fillers. This stiff, tacky compound has excellent dielectric properties, oxidation resistance and water repellency. It is essentially non-toxic and non-melting & retains its pliability even after extended service. Chemplex 825 is resistant to a variety of chemicals and is compatible with most plastics and rubbers. Chemplex 825 has broad temperature range of -40 to 400 º F (-40 to 204 º C) which allows for use even in the most harsh environments. Chemplex 825 is resistant to a wide variety or organic and inorganic chemicals including most oils and alkaline solutions. Aqueous solutions and dilute acids have little effect on Chemplex 825. Applications:
Chemplex 825 Silicone Compound is used in sever applications as a lubricant and release agent. Applications where resistance to moisture and thermal degradation ore electrical insulation are needed are prime opportunities to use Chemplex 825. Electrical connectors, cables, seals, and ignition systems are some of the areas of use for this compound. O'rings, rubber and plastic gaskets or applications where sticking or exposure to the elements occurs can be solved by using a coating of this product. Excellent water washout resistance makes it a natural lubricant for automotive and marine applications. Excellent weather barrier for electrical applications to prevent arcing.
Other Uses Include: brake caliper installation lubricant, battery terminal corrosion resistance, vacuum and pressure system sealant, valve lubricant.
